Flow, baby!

So here is the thing: I was on my way to visit my sister, by train, because no one has bought me that Audi S5 yet ;) And while I was waiting for my train, I was browsing through this book and magazine store when the cover of a beautiful magazine caught my eyes. It had all these different colours and the paper looked as if it might feel awesome. So I grabbed it, and awesome it was!

Its name: FLOW! Its material: different types of paper, all unique in their look and feel. Its content: anything that would make a paper lover's heart beat faster and a human being feel embraced. Its special features: there are actually gifts inside. In the one that I stumbled on, the very first German edition, a beautiful notebook, pretty wrapping paper, gift labels and some postcards. Now if that ain't an awesome magazine that's worth every cent, I don't know what is (and no, I don't receive anything for saying that, I just like spreading something beautiful in the world).

It features articles about artists, DIY people, realizing dreams, inner peace and outer flow, so to speak. And it all comes wrapped in a lovely design. No annoying fashion and make-up ads, pictures of too skinny women or anything else that you usually find in women's magazines. I can't wait for the next issue!

Now you might wonder: Why is she telling me this? What does it have to do with this blog? Well, it's as easy as that: Flow is made by people who love paper, enjoy it's diversity and what you can make with it. So do I... and it was so inspiring, it made me want to make new diaries and notebooks and all kinds of other stuff as soon as I held it in my hand.

So, anyway, enough with the praise, just one last word of advise: next time you find yourself at a magazine stand, keep an eye out for FLOW, you might just like it.
